Elaine Burns
Naramata, British Columbia
Elaine is a Canadian painter whose works range from impressionism to landscape. The inspiration for her art comes from nature, all she has seen and experienced. She has taken numerous workshops with professional artists Debbie Lively and Yvonne Reddick. Most recently she has taken course study with the Landscape Atelier, instructed by Deborah Paris. In 2022, Elaine’s work, “The Birds”, was juried by the Canadian Federation of Artists and she was awarded Active Status with the Federation. Oil is Elaine’s preferred medium, lending well to her interpretation of birds, animals and the landscape. About her art, Elaine says “it is my wish to share my vision of the world, with the world, through my paintings”.
All the experiences you have had in your life have led you to one place. The place you are now, in this very moment. I wish for my art to foster emotion, to start a conversation, to create a better world.
