Oh! Fragrant orange blossom
Adrift in my tea
It soothes my soul for this,
eternity.
I wrote this poem while painting Orange Pekoe. The scent of the blossom, the colour of the orange against the copper is what inspired me. The reflection on the table was an added delight!

My first love was to work in oils and this holds true today. The smell, viscosity and feel of paint on my brush as it marks the canvas is what keeps bringing me back to my easel day after day.
