Nanci Cook
Campbell River, British Columbia
Nanci Cook is a signature member of the Pastel Artists of Canada, with a BA in Arts & Crafts & Their History from University of California Santa Cruz. Nanci has lived on and around Vancouver Island for more than 45 years, including Hornby and Quadra Islands, and Campbell River. The island's scenery inspires her art, which reflects the beauty of her surroundings.
She spent 15 years as a potter before focusing on painting for the last 30 years, studying and painting with many artists, especially Linda Richichi, her mentor for the last 5 years. She paints with the Campbell River Plein Air Painters and is a member of the Campbell River Arts Council.
