About the Artwork

This is a view from Sybil Andrews Cottage, in Campbell River-one of my favorite places to paint. I started with an underpainting in acrylic and acrylic ink, then some clear gesso, and then several layers of soft pastel for lots of texture. I wanted colour to peek though, showing the light and beauty of the fall day.
