About the Artwork
Painting en plein air at Sybil Andrews Cottage in Campbell River, looking east at the mountains and sky of the rest of Canada, I am made humble by the vast beauty. I spent time, watching the clouds dance around the sky, trying to catch the light and airiness. The best part was the experience of painting out with other artists, part of the International Plein Air Painters Great Worldwide Paint Out
