Wood Assemblage: suggestive composition made by fitting together various-sized pieces of wood (aged Douglas Fir), which is cut, shaped, glued, stained, painted, sanded and finished with wax.
I aspire to render the wood to a fluid, to work as easily with wood as though it were a pencil, so I can scribble and doodle until there’s something worth polishing, worth endorsing and strengthening.
This 'portrait' or 'profile' revealed itself.
