Some of my own personal art favorites are painted with my plein air group Artbound. I love to meet up with this group as I often create my fast, yet best, work with them. The moment I have arrived at this particular spot I knew I had my composition. In two hours I had captured the stormy morning atmosphere on one and then this one of suddenly amazing clearing skies. Born in Wrocław, Poland, Dorota studied architecture before immigrating to Canada in 1981. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto and later taught at Mohawk College in Hamilton. Now retired in Nanoose Bay, she enjoys painting, gardening, and sailing. Trained in drawing, watercolor, acrylic, and oil, Dorota finds joy in creating works that reflect natural beauty and bring color to life.
