Ainsley Beach is a small private beach in my neigbourhood. On a hot day one can enjoy the amazing view from the comfort of cool shade. The amazing glow of rocks, shimmering water and the distant landscape change with light conditions an amaze me every visit. The vista was sketched live and watercolored on location.

Nanoose Bay, British Columbia
Born in Wrocław, Poland, Dorota studied architecture before immigrating to Canada in 1981. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto and later taught at Mohawk College in Hamilton. Now retired in Nanoose Bay, she enjoys painting, gardening, and sailing. Trained in drawing, watercolor, acrylic, and oil, Dorota finds joy in creating works that reflect natural beauty and bring color to life.
