About the Artwork

The view struck me with its beauty the moment I had arrived on the scene. The air, sounds, open blues of water and mountains beyond. The driftwood and logs drying out in the hot sun. I had dropped my supplies right on the entry to the park beach and immersed myself in quick color and texture explorations for the view in front of me. The best feelings and the best accomplishment of my summer 2024! As it was created live the image transports me in time and feeling to that perfect sunny day and a wonderful comradery of fellow artists.
