About the Artwork
How does one chronicle the rising tide in a sketch? The lobster fisherman at Del Haven Wharf told me a large fishing boat would be docking within one hour. I did this sketch on the wharf watching the boat circle back and forth waiting for enough water to come in. The small sketch took one hour. The boat came in and unloaded its catch.
