This old lobster boat certainly tells a story of many hard days out at sea in search of a good catch. I love all the blues - aqua, turquoise, navy, cobalt, even the cool blue-greens of sun and cloud shadows on the far hills. The gay coloured ropes and lobster nets, loosely suggested, balance them with a cheerful note. Painting onsite fills the mind with many pleasant thoughts about a scene, and I hope you can feel them too.
