A scene from the North Shore of Oahu, after the flooding in early 2026. Painted with watercolour pouring, masking and granulation techniques. Part of a series of paintings that attempt to capture the drama and atmosphere of the aftermath of a major flood. The amorphous, flowing shapes in the clouds and background were created with the pouring of granulating paint. These shapes contrast with the more precise form of the old truck which was painted with defined brushstrokes and preserved white shapes using masking.
