About the Artwork
I found this fishing boat under repair in the boat yard in Sointula, Malcolm Island,
near Port McNeill in North Vancouver Island.
This is a magical place with endless inspiration for paintings.
I used two granulating watercolours: Lunar Black and Lunar Blue.
