In December 2019, during a road trip through Georgia, I took a walk along the Savannah River with my husband. It was a foggy night, and in the distance, orange and white lights reflected off the river and the water particles in the air. After the trip, I recreated what I had seen. On a subsequent trip through Savannah, I realized that what I had thought were factory chimneys were in fact the masts of docked vessels. Please view this painting up close as well as from a distance; it looks quite different depending on how one looks at it.
