This is an imagined scene in a remote spot in Newfoundland, a province I have yet to visit. I have strong mental images of certain places I have not visited, formed from books, film, and other indirect input. I am very interested in turning such mental images into paintings. When I do so, I usually title the painting in French, as I did here.
