Not For Sale
This piece was done at the begining of the COVID Pandemic. It is an expression of the overwhelming anxiety, fear and isolation. Before masking, before vaccinations, we were told to stay at home and be alone. It was scary and compounded by all the new terms and daily changes to information. The little figure is bare, exposed, head downcast, and she is pulling into herself, which is very much how I felt. A tiny sculpture which expressed so much during a difficult time for everyone. Wrapped in caution tape, the new vocabulary on it a sign for others to stay away.

"My sculptures are about the spark and spirit of a person or animal, not just their likeness. I want to bring the audience into that moment of hope, love, connection, positive self-image, faith and wonder."
