About the Artwork
This military man is kneeling with his bomb detection dog at the end of a difficult day. They are comforting each other and it is an intimate moment of love and trust between a person and their working dog. It goes beyond pet or companion; their lives depend on each other and they have a deep connection. Their fatigue and resilience are evident.
