Ancient architecture warmed by the sun draws you in to walk the stone path lined with lush greenery and summer blooms. You know there is so much history here and wish the walls could tell you their story.
When I saw this photo taken by a traveling aunt, I was so drawn to the inviting space, that it felt familiar and welcoming.

Sheila Van Delft
Langley, British Columbia
Sheila Van Delft is a visual artist who paints landscape and wildlife with sensitivity and thoughtfulness and hopes to bring a little of the wilds into the homes of her collectors. Her images include a wide variety of subjects such as mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, and BC birds and wildlife.
"I have been an artist since I was a child and can’t imagine my life without painting. My favourite subjects to paint are landscape and wildlife so it’s amazing to be able to paint what I see around me every day."
