Seagulls can be a nuisance, especially if you're trying to enjoy a picnic on the beach. When I took my two youngest girls to Crescent beach for hotdogs, the gulls kept sneaking up trying to steal our food. We eventually gave them a few bits, but then their friends all came for lunch.

Sheila Van Delft
Langley, British Columbia
Sheila Van Delft is a visual artist who paints landscape and wildlife with sensitivity and thoughtfulness and hopes to bring a little of the wilds into the homes of her collectors. Her images include a wide variety of subjects such as mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, and BC birds and wildlife.
"I have been an artist since I was a child and can’t imagine my life without painting. My favourite subjects to paint are landscape and wildlife so it’s amazing to be able to paint what I see around me every day."
