Chockle Cap is a protected island in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. Once owned privately, it is a testament to the limitless determination of a small conservation association to acquire it to ensure this tiny, raw island is preserved as part of the Atlantic Flyway.
Conservation associations must think of their quest as limitless in order to persevere to obtain private properties to ensure they are not clearcut for commercial or residential use, especially the ones that our Atlantic bird population call home.
