About the Artwork

I’m driven to discover and develop a distinctive visual language that feels instinctive and different, even virgin. Through experimental mark-making and unconventional materials, I stay responsive, letting curiosity guide me.

Nature is my compass - not for replication, but for evocation. I’m drawn to unpredictability, and work to capture that edge where beauty meets wildness.

Materials become collaborators and tools used in unexpected ways invite accident, surprise and discovery. This piece includes newly developed techniques born from risk and play. I create work that feels alive and quietly powerful - an open-ended experience that invites personal response and internal reflection.

I just love the space that creating abstract art makes for the imagination, for both artist & viewer. I work in a series, several paintings at once, which allows me to utilize my creative energy to its maximum, moving from one painting to the next.
