About the Artwork

My art work is a constant exploration of what I can draw from myself. My quest is to continue to grow, explore, learn and excavate my truth, some of which I may not entirely see yet.

This painting is one in a series developed with 2 objectives in mind: to push myself out of my comfort zone of neat, tidy and safe by exploring the juxtaposition of beauty and chaos. That is life after all. My creative explorations involve using beautiful intense colour next to muted hues while also balancing a degree of freedom against control. My materials and tools

I just love the space that creating abstract art makes for the imagination, for both artist & viewer. I work in a series, several paintings at once, which allows me to utilize my creative energy to its maximum, moving from one painting to the next.
