In this piece I continue to explore tactile experiences of rugged places, both physical and emotional. The combination of various materials and techniques allow the interplay of line, shape and rough textures further magnified by limiting my palette. Leaning on the immediacy of drawing materials and their interaction with paint created a more honest expression.

I just love the space that creating abstract art makes for the imagination, for both artist & viewer. I work in a series, several paintings at once, which allows me to utilize my creative energy to its maximum, moving from one painting to the next.
