My work explores the impact of accumulated experiences. I see a powerful connection between the shaping of landforms and the shaping of ourselves. Just as topography bears evidence of seismic shifts and ancient pressure, so do we. Both are sculpted over time, through upheaval, stillness, erosion, and favourable conditions - carrying histories that influence what is visible on the surface and what remains hidden beneath. This piece is one of several summer explorations and indicative of my artist's intent.

I just love the space that creating abstract art makes for the imagination, for both artist & viewer. I work in a series, several paintings at once, which allows me to utilize my creative energy to its maximum, moving from one painting to the next.
