About the Artwork

My work is in constant exploration of curiosity. My art is a continuous exploration of creative expression of what inspires me. My work is influenced by my experience of my natural environment and it's impact on me.
This painting is one in a series developed with this objective in mind: to push myself out of my comfort zone by exploring the juxtaposition of calm and chaos with line, colour & shape. My explorations involve using beautiful intense colour next to muted hues, line or texture alongside shape while also balancing a degree of freedom against control. My materials and tools

I just love the space that creating abstract art makes for the imagination, for both artist & viewer. I work in a series, several paintings at once, which allows me to utilize my creative energy to its maximum, moving from one painting to the next.
