In “Under a Tangerine Sky,” I sought to create a sense of a rocky shoreline under the orange glow of a setting sun. Sometimes, what I intend, changes. While the interpretation of an abstract piece is for the viewer to make, now when I look at the painting, I see the unnatural light from the forest fires consuming our province.
