About the Artwork
Fireguard Cutblocks are now common around Mackenzie BC, harvested to help safeguard the town from future wildfires. They also serve as recreational places having spurred the development of trails over the past 10 years. A morning walk with the dog during a snowstorm was brought to a pause as I appreciated the simple view of atmospheric perspective and the quietude of where I was.
