C$300
The first acrylic pour resulted in an abstract of greys, blacks and oranges but then some unexpected visitors appeared in the shape of koi fish, motivating more distinct forms using collage. Once the fish were swimming about then the story needed to be enriched with more collage for seaweed and patterns.
The joy in creating this piece came from responding to each action with another action until there was a sense of completion.
