C$250
This piece illustrates my own growth as a collage artist. I started adding small pieces of collage to my paintings a few years ago, and discovered the endless possibilities of this medium.
At first, magazine papers were my source of selection but since then, I have discovered the joy of making my own papers. This piece consists solely of my own textured papers, some on tissue paper and waxed paper so that after application, the background can be seen underneath.
Collage has now become my passion, transporting me to my happy place time and time again. I'm excited to think of my continued growth in this medium.
