About the Artwork

In Through the Looking Glass: Our Northern Forest, represents how over the past two years our view of the world around us has changed. In someways everything seems upside down, our daily fabric disjointed and inverted. But more importantly, our neighbours, our friends and even our family, may hold ideas we never would have imagined them to have, resulting in friction and stress amongst everyone. Although we’ve faced enormous upheavals, in another sense, we now have a keen appreciation for life, our surroundings, our beautiful forests and sunsets and, yes, even people who may disagree with our beliefs.
