This slender format is new for me. I love how well it can express an idea. It requires much restraint and editing, at least from me. This textured piece features one of my favorite subject matters - birch bark. Abstracting tree bark provides an endless variety of shapes, colors, lines and textures. The 'trees' have so much personality and are in a relationship. The small red one strikes me as one who likes a little drama on the dance floor.
