About the Artwork
Big, clean shapes envelop the smaller shapes in the central area. The small shapes sort of erupt in untidy ways. This piece features copper leaf, textured papers and pastes and a tiny surprise of Japanese paper. I like the juxtaposition of the strong, linear shapes with the untidy chaos in the focal area.
