Walk with Me
This is a study for a commission. It represents an elderly couple, embracing the changes they are experiencing that come with aging. Though the season and the weather are also actively changing, it is the personal changes and the graceful way the two are dealing with them that is depicted here. The suggested distance they have come along the beach and the gentle meeting of the sand with the rippling waves help characterize their smooth transition in life.
