Pond Vignette
The pond’s shoreline, right where land changes with the ebb and flow of the water, is home to a unique variety of plants and animals. They interact with constantly changing conditions, forming a very special world of their own. This close-up vignette not only depicts these changes in nature but also represents a change for myself, experimenting in a rather different tangled style of brushwork while reflecting on the contrasting influences in this seemingly simple habitat.
