About the Artwork
One of my favourite pieces of whimsy is my poupee millet doll. These dolls were first introduced in Paris in the 1980's. Filled with millet grains, they are individually handmade and have a stylish fabric, a porcelain head, hands, feet and fanciful hat. No two are alike, making them unique pieces of art. This one was one was created by Paolo, one of the two original artists of the poupee millet. They are great fun to just walk by and change their position. Mine appears in several of my paintings.
