I had the wonderful experience of spending a month alone in Paris. The days were mine and having been to Paris several times before, I made the most of ambling through wonderful little streets and being a true Parisian 'flaneur'. One day, I came upon an amazing hat shop. I remember as a child my mother always took me to a little millinery shop for my spring Sunday church hat. I couldn't resist heading in and trying on a few. I think it is a bit sad we have not embraced the habit of the hat in the way Britain and other countries have. I had a lovely chat with the ladies in the shop and asked if I could film. They were so lovely and as we continued to talk, they even participated in creating little 'groupings'. It was such a fun few hours and I may just take on a series!
