This work combines an evening view of Alta Lake. With the vibrant colors of autumn leaves. While inspired by two different scenes, both were experienced during a period of personal transition and uncertainty.
The warm light of the setting sun contrasts with the cool presence of the moon, while vivid red clouds and autumn foliage suggest both change and impermanence. The solitary dock resting between light and shadow became a symbol of standing still while looking toward an unknown future.

By bringing these landscapes together, I sought to capture the emotions that can exist at a crossroads with hope and doubt, anticipation and hesitation, and the quiet space where transformation begins.
