A tapestry of hardy flowering dogwoods, with their open and inviting blossoms in all their variety, representing both British Columbia's official flower and cultural exchange around the Pacific rim. The pink denotes friendship, while evoking the kousa dogwoods of Japan. Our home in Steveston, which values its Japanese Canadian heritage, would not exist without the contributions of the entire community of first nations and immigrant settlers who were fundamental in shaping it.

"I strive to give permanent form to fleeting moments of grace. Favouring organic subjects, I enjoy exploring the idiosyncrasies that distinguish an individual. My devotion to studying the specific character of light and and its ability of light to transmute the quotidien into something remarkable remains constant throughout."
