Looking out at the lake when the snow and ice begin to melt, you no longer see a uniform flatness. My eyes dart around all the different sections, the colours bouncing around depending on the new thicknesses of the snow and ice. It's always exciting to see the expanse of the lake start to warm, even as you still feel the coolness of the air coming off the ice. There is no way any winter sports are safe out there anymore this year.

Jeanette uses her art to understand who she is and her place in the world. She works mostly from memory and imagination to acheive the feeling tone of an image rather than a realistic one.
"I allow myself to be versatile with media and styles because it helps me feel alive while creating and opens me up to new ideas for more work."
