This path around Ferguson Lake is one of my favourite places. It was a wild area when I was a child. As teen we would hunt garter snakes in the big sawdust pile on the old mill site. Today the area is a regional park with a well tended path, picnic tables and a dock. The old sawdust pile was hauled away.
