About the Artwork
This swamp is located near Summit Lake BC. I love looking at wetlands with all their diversity and this one in particular because of the colour change in the grasses. When I first started painting it, I thought I was painting primarily grass and water. As it evolved as paintings do, I realized I was actually painting sky and grasses.
