About the Artwork
Viking Alliance was brought over from the Faroe Islands a few years ago and began working out of a North Vancouver fish dock where we keep our sailboat.
We often see it arriving arrived at its dock day or night to unload its catch and resupply. This time Viking Alliance needed to take on new nets, and late one night I sketched the frantic work and took photos.
