About the Artwork

A diptych consisting of 2 panels, each 48" x 12". I prefer diptychs to be hung with a minimum of 1 inch between because I enjoy the disruption of the image.
This is another of my explorations of line, shape and form using a limited palette. This palette verges on jewel tones but I like to play with colour possibilities through mixing my own colour versions and yet seek some harmony in the over all piece.

“I feel that creating art is an act that invites the artist and the viewer to create meaning and story within themselves. I hope my art brings some enjoyment, curiosity and/or possibly eliciting the viewer to feel emotions and create a personal story about the image."

"Always inspired by Nature. Always experimenting. Creating art always lifts my soul."
