About the Artwork

Using the abstract intuitive process along side a titch of planning I get to experiment with colour, composition and materials. I like to use glazing to allow the translucent effect to allow the viewer to get a glimpse of the layers in my paintings.
My paintings are a form of visual story telling.

Courtenay, British Columbia

“I feel that creating art is an act that invites the artist and the viewer to create meaning and story within themselves. I hope my art brings some enjoyment, curiosity and/or possibly eliciting the viewer to feel emotions and create a personal story about the image."

"Always inspired by Nature. Always experimenting. Creating art always lifts my soul."
