About the Artwork

From a recent series based on thoughts about the passage or journey taken as people pass and move beyond their mortal coil. Inspired by thoughts of all the loss we experienced during the pandemic and by my original photos taken at a beautiful river delta campsite and one small rowboat moored at the side.
This piece inspired by the idea that most people leave behind colourful lives.

“I feel that creating art is an act that invites the artist and the viewer to create meaning and story within themselves. I hope my art brings some enjoyment, curiosity and/or possibly eliciting the viewer to feel emotions and create a personal story about the image."

"Always inspired by Nature. Always experimenting. Creating art always lifts my soul."
