About the Artwork
This painting captures the sense of things fading, disappearing, losing their lustre while others emerge, vital and vivid yet also bearing the seeds of their own withering. I’m reminded of opening a book and finding a bright, brittle flower, pressed within the pages, like an unexpected, fading memory.
