This sculpture is of a Grandmother sitting on the couch with her 3 Grandchildren looking at the "family album" pictures. A chance to hear about our family, friends, ancestors and their struggles and triumphs. The piece honors the storytellers and the knowledge keepers. It is a reminder that we need to continue traditions that help us understand where we come from and who we are. It can create a sense of belonging and connection in a world increasingly isolating. In an era of social media, mobile phones and digital photos, spending time with loved ones is vital. This piece is dedicated to my Mother, her stories, and the time spent with her.

"My sculptures are about the spark and spirit of a person or animal, not just their likeness. I want to bring the audience into that moment of hope, love, connection, positive self-image, faith and wonder."
