About the Artwork

Although this painting was created intuitively the shapes remind me of time spent in the mountains, especially on Whistler. Alpine spring is full of mood boosting bright colours and fresh air. Mountains are a place to just be; they often bring perspective in their constancy, stillness and majestic size.
