This painting started my Cityscapes series. It was inspired by my first visit to San Francisco in 2010. I loved the view from the window—the overlapping buildings, the geometry, and the way the light brought everything together. It reminded me that beauty can be found in the most ordinary city views.

I like to create pictures. I love the smell of oil paint; the texture and tension of the canvas; the resistance and softness of the brush; and the color and consistency of the oils. For me, the process of creating an artwork is like a journey to a distant country.
"My artistic vision allows me to express what can’t be articulated with words. The viewer is welcome to connect with my reality, to dive into my world, and to connect with my soul through the emotional context of each artwork."
