Ophelia, one of the most tragic and enigmatic characters in literature, is portrayed immersed in water, in mysterious shades of green and turquoise colours.
I find it one of the most mystical art pieces of mine. It was created for the Shakespeare festival in 2006, the year when I moved to Vancouver.

I like to create pictures. I love the smell of oil paint; the texture and tension of the canvas; the resistance and softness of the brush; and the color and consistency of the oils. For me, the process of creating an artwork is like a journey to a distant country.
"My artistic vision allows me to express what can’t be articulated with words. The viewer is welcome to connect with my reality, to dive into my world, and to connect with my soul through the emotional context of each artwork."
